NESC Announces Third National Job Fair for September 24

GREAT BAY--The National Employment Services Center (NESC) is preparing to host the Third National Job Fair 2026 on Thursday, September 24, at the Aleeze Convention Center, bringing employers and job seekers together for a day focused on employment opportunities, recruitment and strengthening St. Maarten’s local workforce.

The event is scheduled to run from 11:00am to 6:00pm and forms part of NESC’s continued efforts to connect businesses seeking employees with residents looking for work and career opportunities.

NESC is a department within the Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labor (VSA) and serves as a key link between employers and persons seeking employment. Its services are geared toward workforce development, employability, recruitment support and helping individuals gain greater access to available opportunities within the local labor market.

Through its online job portal, NESC also provides a centralized platform where employers can post vacancies and connect with prospective employees, while job seekers can create profiles, highlight their skills and experience and search for positions that match their qualifications and career goals.

According to information currently being promoted by NESC, the online platform features 327 available vacancies, 236 registered candidates and 34 employers, demonstrating the growing use of the service by both businesses and persons seeking employment.

Ahead of the September job fair, NESC is encouraging job seekers to register early, review the vacancies already available through the portal and prepare themselves to engage with participating employers.

Employers are similarly being encouraged to register and upload their vacancies ahead of the National Job Fair. The platform allows companies to reach a growing pool of local candidates while increasing the visibility of available positions and supporting a more efficient recruitment process.

The September 24 event continues a national job-fair initiative that NESC has developed over the past several years. Through these events and its year-round employment services, NESC continues working to improve connections between employers and the local workforce.
