CAY HILL--The St. Maarten Football Federation, SXMFF, brought the 2025, 2026 SXMFF Youth League season to an exciting close on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex, where champions were crowned in the U-9, U-13 and U-17 divisions.
The final day of competition highlighted the talent, discipline and competitive spirit of St. Maarten’s young football players, with clubs battling for top honors after a full season of youth football development.
In the U-9 division, Young Strikers Football Club delivered a dominant performance, defeating FC Soualiga 11-2 to claim the championship title. Oualichi Football Club secured third place, while F.C. Hottspurs finished fourth.
In the U-13 division, F.C. Hott Spurs St. Maarten captured the championship after pushing past SCSA Eagles 4-2 in a hard-fought final. Earlier in the day, FC Soualiga claimed third place with a win over 758 Boyz.
The U-17 championship match produced another exciting contest, with Oualichi Football Club defeating SCSA Eagles 6-4 to take the top spot. FC Soualiga had already secured third place earlier in the week with a victory over Belvedere FC.
With the results, the 2025, 2026 SXMFF Youth League season officially came to an end. The federation congratulated all participating teams, coaches, players, parents, volunteers and supporters who contributed to the success of the season.
SXMFF said it now looks forward to an even bigger and stronger 2026, 2027 Youth League season, which is scheduled to kick off in October 2026.
Parents whose sons or daughters are interested in getting started in football are encouraged to contact any SXMFF member club to register for the upcoming season.
